It is a winery that therefore makes wine exclusively from grapes of its own production and from its own suppliers, the latter carefully selected and followed in the vineyard.

The wines are made with techniques that respect the grapes without attacking them. The attention already starts from the plant with a reasoned biological approach.

All the vineyards, which are mostly located around our cellar or in neighboring municipalities, are cultivated with modern techniques that draw on the knowledge and wisdom of the old winemakers, respecting the grapes without attacking them: the choice not to use herbicides and to minimize the use of chemical products, as well as the harvest done exclusively by hand by collecting in boxes, certainly add value and particularity to our productions. In fact, our company has been awarded the SQNPI certification (National Quality System for Integrated Production)”.

The Glera variety is today the protagonist of the production, but Borgo Antico has never abandoned the tradition, continuing to cultivate native vines that are part of the history of the area, from Marzemino to Verdiso, from Merlot to Cabernet, from which niche products are obtained distinct peculiarities.
